study for Exam

While I was in school I find it difficult to study for exam. This made me feel that education is not for me; I had to make research to sort my problem. Finally I found a way out. What I will be sharing with you is, a method I have applied for 7 years of my life.
So I advice you not to miss any word, better read word by word.

Easy Steps to Pass Your Exams: Study for Exam

The following are what that should be considered while studying for exam.

1.     Examination time table
Examination time table is one of the factors that contribute to the success or failure of any students during exam. Therefore, it must be considered when preparing for exam.

The numbers of exam you write in a day, somehow determine how successful your result will be. If you have more than two courses (subjects) to write in a day in your examination time table, this might affect your grade performance if you are not well prepared.

Therefore, I advise you to write to the exam committee to shift some of the exam, if you have more than two exams in a day. If you follow this advice, there will be improvement on how you study for exam.

1.     Personal time table

Your personal time table guide you on how to read, when to read, where to read and what to read. It helps you to manage your time accurately. Your personal time table must be prepared in line with the examination time.

You might chose to study two courses (subjects) in a day. Allocate time for each course and maintain the time. Chose a place that is comfortable for you without distraction. Paste your personal time table in a place you will see all the time (eg, near your bed or near your door).

1.     The grade you want to have in each course(subject)

Determine the grade you want in each course (subject) and include it in your personal time table if possible.

2.     Revision
3
Many students think that their brain is not working well, because they find it difficult to recall what they have read. This occurs as a result of lack of revision.

It is very important to revise the course several time in order to recall them effectively in exam, therefore, you should create time for you own personal revision.

Common Mistakes Student Make While Studying for Exam

Many students make a lot of mistakes that affect them when studying for exam. I will share with you some of the mistakes that students make; even I myself make the same mistakes in school which affect me negatively. So I will not want you to make that same mistake.

The following are they common mistake students make

  •         Forcing yourself to read for long when you are tired:

Any time you know that you are very tired, don’t force yourself to read, the best thing to do is to sleep. This helps your brain to relax and be ready to accept anything you read without struggle.

  •         Reading without understanding:

Some students fail exam not because they didn’t read, but because they didn’t understand the content of what they were reading.

If you don’t understand what you are reading, stop reading and fine anybody within the field to explain for you.

Note:
“All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes.”  Winston Churchill
“A man’s errors are his portals of discovery” James Joyce
